Kinesiology Career Pathways

Athletic Training

Recognize and evaluate injuries, provide first aid or emergency care; develop prevention and well-being strategies to support client health.

Occupational Therapy

Help clients with injuries, illnesses or disabilities to develop, recover, improve and maintain skills needed for daily living and occupation.

Personal Training

Evaluate clients’ current fitness level, personal goals, and skills; develop personalized training programs and monitor progress.

Coaching

Support the development and learning of a client as they strive to achieve movement or sport goals.

Exercise Physiology

Help clients with chronic conditions to improve their cardiovascular health and body composition.

Strength and Conditioning

Plan, deliver, and review the physiological and mental preparation of athletes to help them achieve sports performance goals.

Physical Education

Instruct students in physical fitness, sports, and other physical activities; design and implement lesson plans that help students develop their physical abilities.

Physical Therapy

Work with clients who have experienced an injury or disease to create a recovery plan focusing on treatments that reduce the need for surgery and prescriptive drugs.
